Welcome to King & Co.! We are a small, family-owned farm located in Powhatan County, Virginia, dedicated to providing honey, bees, quality poultry, and a variety of farm products to our valued local customers.

In 2025, we made a concerted effort to expand our poultry operation, allowing us to offer high-quality hatching eggs and chicks to customers across the nation. We are proud participants in the National Poultry Improvment Plan (NPIP), and members of the American Poultry Association, Old Dominion Poultry Association, and Virginia Poultry Breeders Association. Our focus is on breeds we genuinely enjoy and believe in, with our primary favorites being the Black Copper Marans and Cream Crested Legbars.

In addition to our personal favorites, we offer a selection of other chicken and turkey breeds, making it easy for you to start a new flock or enhance an existing one. We are deeply committed to delivering only the finest quality products, and the photos showcased in our store represent our breeding stock—the parents of the birds you will receive.

While we are not a large commercial hatchery, we pride ourselves on being a family farm dedicated to tradition and excellence. Whether your interest lies in poultry, goats, or bees, we’re always happy to offer guidance and support, whether or not you are currently a customer.
